What this covers
This page explains what happens to information you send through muhammad-zain.com.
What I collect
A contact message includes your name, email address and message. A project enquiry includes your name, email address, optional company or product name, project description, stage, timeline and optional budget. A role enquiry includes your name, email address, employment type and role details. A newsletter signup includes your email address. Submitting a project enquiry also adds that email to the writing updates list.
The site stores your theme preference in your browser. It does not use analytics or advertising cookies.
Why I collect it
I use contact messages, project details and role opportunity details to read and respond to you. I send occasional article notices only to email addresses submitted through the project form or newsletter signup. I do not sell your information. You can unsubscribe from article updates at any time by replying to an email.
Where it goes
The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Contact messages, project and role enquiries, replies and newsletter subscriptions are processed through Plunk, the email service used by the contact form, project form, role enquiry form and writing subscription. These forms send me your message and send you an acknowledgement.
How long I keep it
I keep enquiry details while responding and for the duration of any engagement that follows, plus any period needed for business records. If there is no engagement, I delete the details once the conversation is clearly over. Newsletter subscription data remains until you unsubscribe or ask for removal.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete information you have sent, or unsubscribe from writing updates. Email hi@muhammad-zain.com and I will handle the request.
Changes
If the site starts collecting or using information differently, this page will be updated to explain the change.
